just served a pot of
pu tea and an anzac
to a woman who
thought the tea house
had been here for
years. She is sitting at
the table reading an
alain de botton book!
Wow, ha ha. Thanks
I love the book. X

29.01.10 3:10
So whats the lesson
2day?
Jacq>E
30.01.10 9:41
Had this dream last
night, ed that you and
i rowed out to this
little wooden shack
which was floating like
an island in the middle
of the ocean. we pulled
ourselves up by a long
chain and climbed into
this dark room, where
the pigs and crows
where feeding on
rubbish and went to
look around but a dog
came out of the
shadows so we had to
run away. it was like
some island of the
dead. x ahoy!
M>E
01.02.10 10:50
Oh! Hmmmm, Interesting
ambi>E
30,01,10 12:47
Wow, N also had a
dream last nite where
she and i swam
through flooded
streets of an indian
city and there was
deathly murky water
but it smelt sweet. I
had been there before
and lead her way
through and tole her
what to watch out for..
E>M
30.01.10 12:55
Fucking weird, the water
was definitely murky,
and cold.
M>E
01.02.10 11:01
How interesting that
that equalled the
other. Funny how
things travel such
roads on the inside. . .
We must think anew....
Ambi>E
30.01.10 12:59
Meanwhile on tues nite
i had a dream where i
was passing through
the 52 gates of the
after life. I had died
and was in the air just
above life, then i
was in the air above that
which was full of other
dead people kind of
waiting, then i moved
to the next part,
where it was quite
abject and industrial, i
was there for a while
and battled w other
dead people who were
carnivorous.. then i
passed into another bit
above that, it had
clouds like ancient
asian paintings and it
was there i began to
surrender, mind and
body which was like
floating, and i passed
back down through all
the places of air i had
been to. And returned
to my body and woke
up very tired

In the mean time lemme
tell u about the
TRAUSIANS a tribe from
Thrace. ' Their customs
are basically the same
as elsewhere in
Thrace, except 4 what
they do at birth and
death. When a baby is
born its relatives
gather around and
grieve its troubles its
going to endure and
they recount all the
suffereings of human
life. When anyone dies
however they bury
them in high spirits
and with jubilation on
the grounds that he
has been released
from so many ills and
is now in a perfectly
happy state.'
Yay for yesterday 29 years

26.01.10 4:40
Etta and I are over by

N>E
22.01.10 12:57
Total rock babes! haha
X
Etta>E
On the 26th of January
a group of us attended a large music festival.
We had a stall opposite the Sea Shepherd and the Greens stall.
and so it was we found ourselves at The Big Day Out!
By the end of the day we had renamed the festival
Bogan day out due to the large number stick on aussie flag tattoo's,
union jack draped shoulders, union jack bikinis.
22.01.10. 12:59
There are some
interesting fashions at
syd bdo, alot of
southern cross tatts
and caps!
Etta>E

Where were all the Band T.shirts and rock hair cuts?
22.01.10 12:56
Omg, thats so funny, u r
so rock!
E>Etta
There was an undercurrent displayed by hard core
permanent union jack and
southern cross tatts,
that was, well there is one word for it really,
racist.
We spotted a banner that said
'you flew here
we grew here!',
and in reference to the first fleet
being 'boat people'
a retort was;
'...sailed here
and clearly failed, here.'
It was time for things in the mosh pit
to get political.
26.01.10 12:00
E>B
Dan Sultana man of whom I am a fan,
was the saving grace of the day.
Half way through his soul wrenching set,
pun intended he is a soul singer after all,
Dan sent some love out into the crowd;
'Is n't it great we all get to come together and
celebrate what's good about being australian!'
'Here today on Australia day,
or Invasion day, what ever you wanna call it,
a day of massacre....
cause that's what we are celebrating, the invasion of this land
and the massacre of blackfellas down in Sydney Cove
200 and twenty odd years ago. Not a lot of people know it
but thats what happened and thats when the union jack was
first stuck in the ground of this land,
and thats what is celebrated today,
a massacre.
But its great that we can all come together as one,
but why this day,
let's choose another day to celebrate being Australian,
not one that commemorates a massacre of the original people of this land.'
And the crowd cheered
and Dan Sultan swiveled his hips
and rocked on..
He sang out proud
about love
and heart ache
and cars
and his suburb of fitzroy...
and I swooned
and danced
and cheered
and rocked on with him...
for it was a music festival after all.
Etta and I are over by
