This time last year I was
presenting my final Masters Presentation.
It was such a huge thing for me to know that I could
complete a university degree and took a long time for me
to gain the confidence to get to stage one, I was 29.
For 6 years
I just pushed on through,
completing an undergrad w honours and a post grad.


I worked and supported myself through the process
and I had the support of my new found peers.
The process became something else
it was no longer a concept of achievement.

For this whole year strangely
I live with a type of fatigue.
Funny what the body holds and takes time to let go of.
I havent picked up any of my Degrees
or got my marks
it just does not seem important to me.

But support is important, so
in support of my friends who are finishing up
this year, I went along to see them present, or look at their prints
or talk through their essay topics.

So instead of the pride that comes with donning a gown
and having my photo taken
I felt a lovely pride by having also been apart of the journey my peers.

Congratulations Lauren, Lesley, Phebe, for getting through this year
and Ro for finishing your mural.
I applaud you all and your incredible transformations.
You have all looked deep with in yourselves to explore this thing we call life
that is sometimes hidden under the guise of art.!!.

just a bit more oil. What i

still sad. At first it was
like my life was going
on without me. So i
became a hermit in a
mountain cave. I
thought i was ok
without the world.
If i collected my tears
I'd have enough to drink.
I'd have enough
to wash in...Then one
day i stepped outside
of myself and listened
and
i heard this;

And I thought about
everything that had.
And now,
Its simple, I'm no longer
unhappy.
